Shropshire-based Nock Deighton has taken on David Heath as Senior Valuation Surveyor at its office in Shrewsbury, following a successful career spanning nearly 35 years.

A Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Registered Valuer under the RICS Accreditation Scheme, David joins the firm following a hugely successful career as a Chartered Surveyor, encompassing private, commercial and residential, valuation and surveying roles together with experience in the public sector across Shropshire, Staffordshire, and Birmingham.

In his new role, Telford-born David will undertake a range of residential and commercial valuation activities, utilising his experience of valuations in areas such as Bank Lending, Pension Funds, Annual Accounts, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Sale and Purchase. He is also included within the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, a position that sees him involved in litigation and civil dispute cases, whilst also acting in the preparation and negotiation of Schedules of Dilapidations and Condition, and Landlord and Tenant work.

David Perrin, Nock Deighton’s Director of Professional Services, said: “David is a welcome addition to our team, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise. In his new role he will undertake a range of residential and commercial valuations and surveys across the region, and we are confident his knowledge and skills will be a huge asset to our clients over the months and years to come.”

David Heath said: “I am delighted to join the successful team at Nock Deighton. Although the property sector has faced a challenging period, I’ve joined the company at a very busy time and am looking forward to helping the business continue to grow in the years to come.”
