Jayne Ford works for Henshalls Insurance Brokers, in Newport, and has enjoyed her first 12 months in the role which coincided with the company’s most successful business year ever.

“I’m delighted to have joined such a progressive and forward-thinking firm, and everyone here has helped me to settle in really easily,” said Jayne. “They’ve all been very happy to share their expertise and their knowledge of the insurance industry, which has helped make my time so far a real learning curve.

“This is my first role in the industry, and my aim is to build on my skills still further to help Henshalls continue their success in the local area and beyond.”

Jayne has previously worked in the banking industry, in a debt recovery centre, and for a local taxi company managing the accounts for three sites.

To have achieved our best year to date is a real testimony to the effort our team has put in.”

Henshalls is one of the county’s largest independent insurance firms and it has been in business for over 40 years. The firm is now wholly owned by its six directors after a management buyout in 1999, and has had to be creative in its approach in order to grow.
