Halls is in the process of extending into premises next door on The Square to more than double the office space. The residential sales team will move into the extended office, leaving lettings manager Gemma Smart with more space to further expand her department in the existing office.
Halls now has a team of six staff at Ellesmere, managed by director Allen Gittins and residential director Jon Quinn.
“Halls has established a successful residential sales office in Ellesmere over many years and has recently expanded the lettings team with the appointment of manager Gemma Smart,” explained Mr Quinn.
“Due to the rapid growth of the lettings department, we have now got to the stage where we have outgrown the office. The opportunity has arisen to expand into the adjoining premises, which will more than double our office space, provide more room to display properties and enable us to further improve customer service in both sales and lettings.
“We will have the only dedicated lettings office in North Shropshire, which will undoubtedly help us to find tenants for all types of property in a quick and efficient manner, improving our service to existing and future landlords.”
The Ellesmere project follows a similar expansion of Halls’ residential property office in Barker Street, Shrewsbury last year and the launch of work on a new multi-million pound head office with fine art salerooms at Battlefield, Shrewsbury, which is due to be completed early in 2013.
The company is keen to add properties of all sizes to its rental portfolio in North Shropshire to meet ever-increasing demand.
“Halls offers tailor-made solutions to make letting and management of residential property as easy as possible for landlords, including a comprehensive database of prospective tenants matching properties to the right people,” said Miss Smart.
