Shrewsbury solar company awarded partner status by world leading brand

PV Partner status from SHARP UK is only awarded to established solar energy installation companies which can prove they will deliver a high-end product and represent SHARP UK’s range of solar modules in a professional manner befitting a world renowned brand. Only a handful of solar energy companies out of many thousands in the UK have been selected to receive partner status by SHARP.

Among a number of benefits associated with becoming a SHARP PV Partner, Salop Energy is now able to offer very competitive pricing on all of SHARP’s solar products, as customers will be able to purchase solar modules and complete PV component kits direct from the company’s factory.

Gareth Jehu, director of Salop Energy Ltd explains: “We are immensely proud that a leading global brand and one of the major players in the solar industry, has identified our company as one it feels it wishes to be both associated with and can work with.

“When we set up Salop Energy Ltd three and a half years ago, we were absolutely determined to succeed in what was then an industry in its infancy. Almost immediately we identified SHARP solar products as high quality and a brand people both knew and trusted. With cheap Chinese products now appearing to be the ‘order of the day’ for a lot of our competitors, PV Partner status with SHARP UK now means we will not have to take this route in order remain competitive within the marketplace.

“In addition to our bespoke designed systems we will be offering the complete range of SHARP solar products, including full system kits, all of which are extremely cost effective for both residential and commercial clients and also available to our trade customers. “

Andy Watts SHARP UK national account manager said: “I am delighted to welcome Salop Energy Ltd aboard. When I recently visited its showroom in Shrewsbury I was most impressed. Our products were presented in an extremely professional environment and all the staff were very knowledgeable.

“In what has been a very challenging period for the industry due to the controversy surrounding the government’s cuts to the feed-in-tariff scheme, it is important we work with the right companies to help restore faith with consumers confused by recent events.

“The government has now agreed and committed publicly that solar energy is going to play a big part in its plans for future energy generation (22 gigawatts by 2020). At SHARP UK we look forward to working with Salop Energy Ltd and contributing to help meet these targets.”
