Supported by two local parish councils and the Market Towns Revitalisation Programme Initiative, Shrewsbury-based company Always Consult is facilitating the sessions to bring business people together and create connections.

Managing Director, Carol Ewels said: “There are approximately 1400 businesses across Pontesbury and Minsterley and we want to find them!” She continued: “Our breakfast meetings offer local business people the chance to get together in an informal setting, have a bite to eat, network and take part in small workshops delivered by guest speakers.”

Two meetings have taken place so far this year with topics covering grants and funding, PR and Marketing and effective Social Media. Carol said: “The sessions have been really well attended. The focus on much of Shropshire’s networking seems to be around Telford and Shrewsbury. Our meetings just go to show that business owners in the smaller towns are keen to promote what they’re doing, too.” She adds: “As small, informal sessions, my team and I have noticed that business owners can quickly make links with other professionals in lines of work that will complement projects they’re undertaking. Likewise, they’ll make recommendations and put people in touch with each other. That’s what it’s all about!”
