Pied Piper, of Milk Street, which sells children’s clothing and accessories, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this month under the ownership of sisters Caroline and Helen Francis.
As part of their shop’s birthday celebrations they have linked up with Hope House Children’s Hospice and aim to raise money with a draw for customers.
“We are delighted to have reached our 15th anniversary at Pied Piper and, as a children’s shop, we have always supported Hope House throughout our time in the town as it is such a worthwhile cause,” commented Helen.
She said that during the week from Monday 21st May there would be a promotion of 15% off to mark the 15th birthday and they would be selling tickets for a draw to win £50 worth of Pied Piper gift vouchers, with all proceeds from the sale of tickets going to the charity. A new website would also be launched later this year to mark the milestone.
Vanessa Thomas, fundraising manager at Hope House, said that she was very grateful to Helen and Caroline for their efforts.
She said:
“Pied Piper has always been strong supporters of ours since it opened in 1997, running various events and promotions to raise much-needed money for the hospice, and we want to thank the shop and all its customers for their help.”
