GSF Sales Director Lee Forty said: “Many motorists are now choosing to repair their cars rather than replace, which has helped our business go from strength to strength.
Opening a branch of GSF in Shrewsbury represents a strategic step forward, allowing expansion into an area currently at the outer reaches of our present trading region.
“The new branch also supports our commitment to provide improved sales facilities for customers, and we look forward to bringing our commercial offer to Shrewsbury.â€
Acting on behalf of GSF Car Parts, Ben Briant of Colliers International in Birmingham, secured the purchase of approximately 3,787 sq ft of premises at Morris Property’s Vanguard Way development. The unit includes shop premises, a warehouse and yard to the rear.
With over 1,000 employees nationwide, the new premises are part of national expansion by GSF, which includes the opening of seven new branches and two regional distribution centres in the last 12 months.
Acting on behalf of Morris Property, agent Craig Henn said: “Morris Property is delighted to welcome GSF Car Parts to Vanguard Way. Opening their new branch at the trade park reflects the premier location of the development in Shrewsbury’s key out-of-town commercial area. The premises form part of a terrace of 20,000 sq ft of trade counter units, with one remaining unit of 2,480 sq ft available.â€
The next phase of the development, which will consist of a further 20,000 sq ft, is being speculatively built in March of this year, as a result of continued demand. Further details are available from Craig Henn of Towler Shaw Roberts on 01952 210222 or Liz Lowe of Morris Property on 01743 234234.
