Noah’s Ark located in the grounds of Newport Infants School looks after more than 100 children aged two and upwards in either its friendly nursery or out of school club. Alongside cooking, P.E., music and French, the organisation also ensures the children become familiar with IT.

Keeping up with technology and providing enough computers isn’t always easy; Julie Jakeman, Manager at Noah’s Ark explains, “As a charity all out profits are put back into the nursery and out of school club. We did have a couple of computers but the children love using and of course they really help with their homework. Computers are expensive so when we heard Phil from Comlogic was happy to donate two machines we were delighted, they will make a real difference to the children.

Phil Gadsby, owner of Comlogic added: “ I was approached by a friend who asked if I could help. Having spoken to Julie and having found out a bit more about the work the staff undertake with the children I was only to happy to help. The children and staff gave me a lovely thank you card when we went to install the computers which certainly made the donation worthwhile.”

The nursery and out of school facility is open each weekday from 08.00 to 18.00 during school term times for more details please call 01952 825066. To contact Comlogic call 01743 709 481.
