It is a year since Julie Ball and Marisa Fernández embarked on the exciting adventure of offering languages tuition for children and adults in French, Spanish, Portuguese, as well as English as a Foreign Language, in Shrewsbury town centre, catering for all abilities and requirements.

Whether it be for holidays or simply for enjoyment, targeted support for GCSE and A level students, languages for business, crash-courses for gap-year students or others planning to travel/work abroad, Bright Owls has a course to suit you. Bright Owls has a wide range of adult courses on offer in Spanish, French or Portuguese, ideal if you are aiming to acquire a new language or perhaps looking to brush up on your language skills just in time before jetting off to your Easter or Summer destination!

From strength to strength
Marisa Fernández says: “It doesn’t feel like a year has gone past, it’s gone like a flash! It has been a real learning curve for us but highly enjoyable and rewarding. Julie and I are working really hard to make Bright Owls well known in the Shropshire area by promoting lifelong learning and love of languages as we feel that there aren’t enough facilities available for this, especially for children”.

To commemorate the occasion, Bright Owls is holding a celebratory event next weekend to thank all of their students, families and close friends for their on-going support.

Alongside adult courses, GCSE and A Level tuition, Bright Owls also offers ‘Parent & Child’ sessions and Languages Workshops for children at Half Term and during School Holidays. The language school has recently adopted the ‘Asset Languages’ accreditation scheme (mapped against the European Languages Framework) to reward their students as they reach each milestone in their language learning achievements.
