Lockley Storage helps offer safe and secure storage in Shropshire

0

Andy Hollingsworth from Wistanswick, Shropshire was looking for secure and accessible storage for his lovingly restored AEC Mercury lorry, a regular feature of vintage vehicle rallies in the area and as far afield as Lincoln. Built in 1965, this vehicle is a rare example of a typical lorry of the 60’s. It has been restored in the authentic livery of an Ayrshire coal haulage company and beneath the sheeted trailer is cleverly configured accommodation for the whole family while at vintage rallies.

Andy found what he was looking for within a couple of miles of his home at Lockley Storage, based at the Jones’s Lockley Villa Farm. This farm, in the same family for four generations, has evolved in-step with the changing agricultural economy and has recently diversified into the growing market for caravan and motor home storage, as well as self-storage. They operate a dedicated and secure compound with both open air and covered areas as well as brand new, storage specified 20 foot containers for self storage of furniture, files or anything which is taking up too much room at home or in the office.

While caravans and motor homes represent the majority of vehicles stored, Mark has had everything from jet skis to giant 5th wheel trailers in his compound. With easy access to the A41 and within easy distance of Telford, Shrewsbury and Stoke on Trent, Lockley Storage has made its mark in the growing market for quality storage. With plenty of room to manoeuvre and the protection of security fencing, CCTV cameras, proximity alarms and a key code electric entrance gate this is a perfect haven for caravans – and vintage lorries.
