Invited guests, from among the county’s estate agencies and clients of the firm, were all given their chance to show what they could do on the range when they gathered at the West Midlands Shooting Ground, at Hodnet.

It is an event PCB has hosted for a number of years now and has become a regular, and popular, fixture in the calendar.

After being welcomed with bacon sandwiches in the morning, six groups ventured out with an instructor to try out a variety of clay shooting challenges, before rounding off the day with a shoot off-team event. Trophies were presented to the highest scorers before everyone enjoyed a buffet and wine.

PCB managing partner, Rachael Hughes, said: “It makes for a really good day out, giving everyone the chance to either prove existing prowess or try something new. The shooting ground at Hodnet is a great venue and I know our guests enjoyed themselves from the very positive feedback.

“It’s fair to say some were better shots than others! But it’s a light-hearted day out and the main thing is that everyone gets to relax and have some fun and good conversation.”

The men’s trophy went to Tim Main, of Balfours Chartered Surveyors, with the women’s award taken home by Alison Fuller, of Chesterton Humberts estate agents.
