Shropshire farmers join forces to become energy efficient

In order to make the project more economically viable, the group are using bulk buying power to get together and bring down the prices of the environmentally friendly equipment.

Not only is the project good for the environment, it makes business sense. Government subsidies mean that producing energy in this way can boost a farm income, and reduces pay-back time dramatically.

However, the group isn’t exclusive to just farmers – other people have got involved from different businesses, or for domestic use.

There will be a meeting for anyone else interested in joining the group, with a presentation from a renewable energy company, at Dorrington Hall Farm, Woore on Monday 15th August at 7.00pm. Booking is essential.
