The money was raised from the recent county Business Awards evening held at Telford International Centre, and also from a raffle held at the Chamber’s AGM.
Chamber managing director Richard Sheehan said: “ The Chamber fully recognises the difficult challenge that charities face when trying to raise funds in these uncertain times.

“We are delighted to be representing the whole business community and highlighting its generosity throughout the region, by donating this money to such a good cause.â€
Lucy Proctor, community fundraising manager for Severn Hospice, added: “The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce provide such tremendous support to the business community.
“It is wonderful to see such inspirational business leaders also doing so much for Severn Hospice and we are truly grateful to them for their ongoing support.
“The money they have raised will make such a difference to the lives of our patients and their loved ones.â€
