Susan Grazier of Shropshire-based PCB Solicitors has become a full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading professional body for practitioners in the fields of trust, estate and related issues.
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners has approximately 19,400 members across 95 countries and is an association for professionals that help families plan their long-term financial future through trusts and estates. Members are recognised as the most experienced and senior practitioners in the area, and have the expertise to comply with complex tax rules surrounding the practise as well as tax planning issues for international families, protection of the vulnerable, and family businesses.
Susan explained: “I am absolutely delighted to join such a recognised professional body, especially one that is fast becoming the benchmark for quality within the industry. The course is notoriously rigorous and consisted of two years study and exams around my role at PCB Solicitors, which I found both interesting and testing. However, all the hard work has paid off and I am pleased to be able to provide our clients with an expert and knowledgeable service that they can really rely on.”
Rachael Hughes, Partner at PCB Solicitors, added: “We’d like to offer our congratulations to Susan who has worked so hard to achieve this qualification. It not only evidences her legal knowledge and expertise in trusts and estates, but makes her the second member of the team to gain the qualification which showcases our commitment as a firm to continually enhancing the service we provide to our clients across the region.”
