The Steak & Grill Mediterranean Restaurant, a stone’s throw opposite Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury’s Frankwell district, is offering fantastic new lunch, dinner and drinks choices with a Mediterranean twist, especially designed to tempt the palates of all, young and old.

Zeki and Hatice Celebi, with their new team spearheaded by locally-acclaimed Italian chef Alessandro Degiorgio, are looking forward to greeting customers to their new restaurant. The Steak & Grill Mediterranean Restaurant offers lunches, evening meals and Sunday dinners for a variety of palates, as well as pre-theatre dinner and drinks specials, from Tuesdays through till Sundays.

Food choices include sea bass, calamari, risottos and tasty salads through to traditional Italian pasta dishes and English Sunday roasts, with Mediterranean and Italian-themed desserts to die for and a fantastic wine list.

Zeki and Hatice are no strangers to serving good food in the town; they’ve successfully run another 5-star food hygiene-rated eatery in the vicinity for over 12 years. The couple, together with their seven-strong front-of-house and catering team, have expanded to take over the former Steakhouse Restaurant and have the drive and enthusiasm to make it a huge success.

“Friday is a big day for us,” said Hatice Celebi. “We’re looking forward to showing Shrewsbury food lovers and theatre goers our passion for serving dishes with that authentic Mediterranean flavour.”
