Man threatened with knife and hammer during Telford robbery

The incident occurred at 3.05am, as the 19-year-old man walked along Trench Road close to the junction with Wombridge Road.

He was approached by two who demanded money, the victim initially refused, but then they produced a kitchen knife and a hammer. The man then handed his money and wallet over. When the men asked for his phone, he ran and the offenders fled in an unknown direction.

The men were both described as medium build, around 5”10 and in their twenties. One was wearing a black hooded top and the other was wearing a blue hooded top.
