Pauline Davies of PCB Solicitors is celebrating becoming a full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading professional body for practitioners in the fields of trust, estate and related issues.
Pauline explained: “I’m absolutely thrilled to join such a recognised professional body and it feels like true confirmation of the legal knowledge that I’ve worked so hard for over the years. Not only is it fast becoming the benchmark for quality in the industry, it’s something that I know clients will increasingly look for in firms specialising in estates and trusts in the future.
“The course was interesting and hard work in equal measure, especially fitting the three theses in between my full-time position at PCB Solicitors, so I am quite pleased that my studying journey has come to an end. I’m also very much looking forward to putting my new skills to practice and working with our clients to achieve the best possible outcomes,” Pauline concluded.
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners has approximately 17,000 members across 80 countries worldwide and common areas of specialism for members include caring and supporting elderly or vulnerable relatives, families with members and interests spread across differing countries, and ensuring that family businesses will safely pass from one generation to another.
Rachael Hughes, Partner at PCB Solicitors, added: “It’s fantastic to have a member of our team with such a prestigious industry-recognised membership and we’re really pleased for Pauline who has worked so hard to achieve it. It not only evidences her legal knowledge and ability to advise and guide clients most effectively in the area of trusts and estates, but it showcases our commitment as a firm to continually enhance the service we provide to our clients across the region.”
