On Saturday November 2 the ladies travelled to London and embarked on the The 10 mile walk, crossing 11 London bridges.
The quartet made up of Joanne Jones, Rachel Wildman, Amie Dean and Helen Lloyd from the British Ironwork Centre, raised a whopping £610.86 and presented the money to Lynsey Kilvert and Chloe Evans from the Hope House.
Joanne Jones from the British Ironwork Centre enjoyed the walk:
“On behalf of us four ladies I would like to thank Hope House for letting us get involved in this fantastic activity, we had great fun on the walk and we are still feeling the healthy work out it gave us.
“We also enjoyed the fundraising, Amie Dean, member of the Ironwork Centre team, even made a rainbow cake to raise money!”
Lynsey Kilvert from Hope House said:
“Without people like you we quiet simply would not be able to do what we do, On behalf of all the children & families who will benefit from your fundraising, a heartfelt thank you to you all”
