This event is part of the national tour celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the prestigious TS Eliot Prize for Poetry and is a marvellous opportunity to hear world class poetry performed live on stage at a local venue.

Phillip Gross was the 2009 TS Eliot Prize winner with his collection The Water Table, Gillian Clarke, Wales’ much-loved National Poet had her collection Ice shortlisted in 2012. Frances Leviston’s debut collection of poems Public Dream was shortlisted for the TS Eliot prize in 2007 and Luke Kennard’s works earned him an Eric Gregory award for poetry in 2005, and made him the youngest poet ever to be nominated for the Forward Poetry Prize of Best Collection.

The TS Eliot Prize is one of the world’s top poetry awards, set up by the Poetry Book Society in 1993 in memory of its founding poet. Books of the author’s works will be available on the night at the book signing as part of the evening.
