The three organisations A4U, Fairshare Credit Union and Rights and Fairness Telford currently receive Corporate Grant funding from the council each year as a contribution towards their operating costs.
A4U provides information, support and advocacy for people with disabilities.
Fairshare Credit Union is a not for profit community bank offering accessible savings and affordable loans for anyone who lives or works in Telford and Wrekin or Shropshire.
Rights and Fairness Telford, works with groups from the voluntary and community sector that work to promote and protect the rights of disadvantaged and minority communities in Telford and Wrekin
Councillor Shaun Davies, cabinet member for Neighbourhood Services and Co-operative Council, said: “All three organisations provide vitally important and first class services to the residents of Telford and Wrekin.
“I am therefore delighted to confirm that the funding will continue for three organisations that are very much at the heart of the community that they serve.
“It is no secret that we are under severe financial pressure as a result of government cuts.
“That makes the valuable contribution that the voluntary sector makes in the borough all the more important, so it is completely right that we continue to support these organisations during these difficult times.”
Before Christmas, Telford & Wrekin Council gave early notification that similar funding for the Citizens Advice Bureau would also continue.
