The café will be open three days a week from 9.30am and 4.30pm at the new, multi-million pound flagship building, which is set to open on March 1. A hot and cold menu of homemade or locally sourced, good quality, light meals and snacks will be provided for clients and visitors.
The new café will have space for 40 covers, with additional seating areas in reception areas. It will be an extension of the successful café, farm shop, butchery and delicatessen operated by Battlefield 1403, which is owned and run by Mrs Joyce Jagger and her family.
David Giles, a Halls’ director, said: “We are very excited about the prospect of moving to our new premises and now even more so with Battlefield 1403 on board. They will provide a perfect setting to offer our clients a range of refreshments while visiting our new premises.”
Mrs Jagger said she was delighted to win the contract to support the exciting new venture. “The cafe at Halls will provide a range of home produced food at the Halls from mid March,” she added.
“Battlefield farm shop, butchery, deli and cafe currently employ over 30 staff and the Halls contract will create further new positions.”
