Former Shropshire nurse launches life coaching business

Andrea Robinson worked as a psychiatric nurse for 25 years, finishing her career at Shrewsbury’s Shelton Hospital as a nurse specialist in eating disorders.

But she now uses her past experience and qualifications to help the clients of her own life coaching business recently launched in Shrewsbury, working with numerous people across the county and nationally and internationally via Skype.

Andrea said: “With a lot of clients they are unaware of what is holding them back or what is making them unhappy and time with a life coach can help them to realise the steps they could be taking.”

Tessa Say, a professional translator working in Italy, said: ““Andrea provides guidance that is expert, professional and, above all, caring.

“She goes beyond the boundaries of the sessions to seek out information that may be helpful and her sensitivity to needs means the challenges she sets are realistic yet highly fruitful.”

Andrea also writes for the Nursing Times and an article on Creating your Career Vision will soon be published and provide advice for thousands of readers across the UK.

“I believe this is an important subject for people to think about,” added Andrea. “A lot of people remain stuck in a career that no longer suits them and though life coaching they learn to remember their true values and beliefs and develop confidence to take the career-leap right for them.”
