Another change sees the home jersey switching from white to orange following supporter interest in last season’s cup shirt.
This season’s jersey will also boast a full complement of sponsors with Marketing and Sponsorship coordinator Andy Phillips stating “This summer the response we received from companies wishing to support the trust and advertise on our playing strip has been overwhelming, so much so that for the first time in memory we had to close the shirts in the middle of June as they were full.
This is a huge achievement in only our third season under fans’ ownership, and I am certain that we have set yet another precedent for a team in Telford.”
Among the many companies on this season’s jersey are returning sponsors Asda Living, Telford Shopping Centre, Subway and eplupdates.co.uk. Also featured are new sponsors CSR Baits, JPF Sports Therapy, and Cambridge Airport, with the enthusiasm of both returning and new sponsors being summed up by Airport Director, Archie Garden who said “Cambridge Airport is in the middle of a dynamic change programme, and key to that programme are our people – and key to our people are their local interests – hence we are ecstatic to be able to support the TRS Telford Tigers as we race them to be top of the league in our respective theatres of competition.â€
With the growing success of this year’s sponsorship deals Andy Phillips added “The great news is that we have already sold logo positions and received enquiries for next seasons’ playing strip, and I just hope that the remaining positions on our shorts, socks, helmets and in the newly refurbished Telford Ice Rink are also snapped up for the 12-13 season. I would like to thank all of our sponsors for their fantastic support, without which the Tigers wouldn’t be on the ice.â€
Meanwhile the fixture list for the forthcoming EPL season has now been announced, with TRS Telford Tigers first game being away at Guildford Flames on Saturday 15th Sept.
