Police officers attended the house in Freshfields, Harlescott shortly after 9am yesterday morning.
Suspected cannabis plants and cultivation equipment were found and recovered from a garage at the property and the 33-year-old arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
He was interviewed at Shrewsbury Police Station before being released on bail pending further enquiries.
Sergeant Lee Holehouse, who is investigating the incident, reinforced West Mercia Police’s commitment to tackling drug issues across the force area.
“If anyone suspects there is drug activity taking place near to where they live or work, I urge them to call the police on 101,” he said.
“Any information we receive is logged and used to build enough evidence for us to take decisive action against those cultivating and supplying drugs.
“This warrant is just the latest in our ongoing work to tackle drug related crime in Shropshire.”
