Organised by Graham’s widow Judith and close friend Julie Lewis, the shop sold unwanted and donated clothes, bags and accessories for over a two-week period, before the refurbished High Street premises opened as Colours Florist.

Julie commented: “Graham was a dear friend and a great character and we decided to clear out our wardrobes and raise some money for the hospice where he was treated so well in his final days.
“The temporary shop was quiet at times but very busy and enjoyable at others, and with help from Judith, Jane Tart and members of the Much Wenlock Hospice Support
Group we were delighted to raise this money and create some space in our wardrobes at the same time.â€
Receiving the cheque, Severn Hospice community fundraising advisor Mike Perry said: “These ladies had an incredibly successful couple of weeks from a really good original idea, and we are very grateful for the money because public fundraising provides a large proportion of our much needed income.â€
