Nicholas Kennan left leading Shropshire and North Wales law firm, GHP Legal, last year after being recruited by a niche practice in Shrewsbury. The move enabled him to build on his employment and litigation skills as well as gaining further experience of regulatory proceedings.

Speaking about his return to GHP Legal where he will be concentrating on civil litigation, employment and personal injury matters, Mr Kennan said: “Working elsewhere has thrown into focus the impressive breadth and depth of legal knowledge at GHP Legal. I am very much looking forward to working with former colleagues again and offering assistance, in particular, to local professionals who find themselves faced with the possibility of disciplinary sanction by their supervising authority.”

Robert Williams, a Partner with GHP Legal and Head of Litigation, said: “I am pleased that Nicholas has decided to return to the Firm. As a solicitor advocate he will add strength to our existing team of in-house advocates and further our ability to offer clients a seamless ‘beginning to end’ service without recourse to external legal assistance, ensuring continuity and keeping costs down for the client.”
