The incident happened as the 18 year-old girl, who was with a friend, was walking along Haybridge Road in Hadley at around 5.15am today.

As the two friends made their way along the road, they noticed a red car parked at the side of the road, near to the Cross Keys public house.

As they walked past, one of the girls looked inside the car and saw a man indecently exposing himself.

The victim and her friend, who did not see the man, ran towards a taxi that had just dropped someone off in the area. The driver took the girls home.

The teenage girl who saw the suspect was extremely upset by the incident.

Police are investigating the matter and want to hear from anyone with information about the suspect.

A Telford Police spokeswoman said: “The suspect is described as a white male, of medium build with a shaved head. He was wearing a short sleeved dark coloured shirt and dark coloured jeans. He was inside a small red car.

“If you were in the area at the time and saw the man or the vehicle then we would really like to hear from you. We also want to hear from anyone who recognises the suspect from the description we have issued.”
