Samaritan’s Purse helps Operation Christmas Child by receiving gift-filled shoe boxes, sealing them and ensuring they are ready to be sent to Eastern European and African countries.

“Every year we are delighted to welcome Samaritan’s Purse to Centurion Park and support their dedicated charity work,” commented Liz Lowe, Head of Estates for Morris Property. “Our Estates Manager Sarah McQueen-Skene has worked closely with the charity to ensure Centurion Park gives them the facilities they need.”

Operation Christmas Child is a national charity initiative which, each year, sends parcels of presents to children who need them most over the festive season.

Rod Bacon of Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian charity that is part of a number of national and international networks, said: “We are very pleased that Morris Property has again made this unit available to us, in such a suitable location, enabling the smooth operation of the Christmas Child initiative.”

“Over the next few weeks we expect to be receiving thousands of filled boxes from across Shropshire, which will bring delight to the children who receive them.”
