Police arrest 16-year-old following Bridgnorth assault appeal

The arrest follows an appeal for information about the incident, which happened outside the Seagull restaurant in Listley Street at around 11pm on July 31.

The victim suffered head and arm injuries, including a one-inch gash to the top of his head and a broken right arm.

Police Constable Mark Naylor, the investigating officer, said today: “A 16-year-old youth was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assault, causing grievous bodily harm.

“He was been interviewed and bailed to a future date while inquiries continue.”
