The 52-year-old man was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with head and other injuries.
His 350cc BSA motorcycle was involved in a collision with a green Jeep Cherokee outside the village hall in Station Road at around 12.15pm.
Police were today continuing to investigate the circumstances and have appealed for witnesses or anyone who saw either vehicle immediately beforehand, to make contact.
The male driver of the Jeep was uninjured.
It’s believed the Jeep was travelling from Ditton Priors towards Bridgnorth and the green and black BSA motorcycle in the opposite direction towards Ditton Priors when the collision happened.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: “We are appealing for anyone who has information which might help the police investigation, to contact either Bridgnorth or Ludlow police stations on 0300 333 3000.”
