The fire broke out in the roof space of the family run business on Wenlock Road on Friday. Workers inside the building were alerted to the fire by a local resident who saw smoke rising from the roof.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue attended the blaze with units from Shrewsbury, Wellington, Baschurch, Tweedale and Telford Central including the aerial ladder at the scene. The area around the building was cordoned off for over 24hs following the fire over fears that gas cylinders could explode from the heat.
