Dancers from The Gaston-Payne School of Theatre, Dance and Drama, based in Telford, recently featured on the live final of Comic Relief Does Glee Club.
The team performed a piece from The Producers and now four of its members are getting ready to tread the boards at Shrewsbury’s Theatre Severn in the same show.
Christabelle Causer, Sharna Balshaw, Hannah Shelley and Amber Rose Hall, all from Telford, will be dancing in Mad Cow Productions latest production.
They will be playing a tap troupe of showgirls along with Mad Cows dance captain Sian Archer and Lauren Bellingham, both from Shrewsbury.

The show tells the story of has-been Broadway producer Max Bialystock and neurotic accountant Leopold Bloom who devise a money making scheme to get rich by producing a sure fire Broadway disaster, then pocketing the left-over cash when it flops.
Alex Hinton, the show’s director, said: “The fact the girls performed a piece from The Producers on TV was pure coincidence. Little did they know that they would soon be dancing in an actual full scale production!
“The first rehearsals have gone really well and the girls are looking forward to dancing on the main stage at Theatre Severn.â€
The Producers will run from May 19 to 21 in the Auditorium and tickets are now on sale.
The show will start at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets cost from £17 to £10, to book telephone (01743) 281281 or visit www.theatresevern.co.uk.
