A power cut saw supply lost to around 750 homes in Shrewsbury this morning.

The homes in Belvidere and surrounding areas lost power at around 9.40am.

A spokesperson from Western Power said: “Our engineers are working to fix the power loss issues and we aim to have all properties back on by 11:30am.

The cause of the issue is being investigated.
