Flood alerts have been issued in Shropshire as the recent snow and ice begins to melt with further rain forecast.

Severn Vyrnwy Confluence
At 3pm on Wednesday, the level at the Llanymynech Gauge was 2.72 metres and rising. A peak level of between 3.5 and 3.7 metres is expected to occur overnight into Thursday.
River Severn in Shropshire
At 5pm on Wednesday, Crew Green Gauge was 2.68 metres and rising. A peak level of between 5.3 and 5.5 metres is expected to occur overnight into Thursday.
Buildwas Gauge was 1.38 metres and rising. A peak level of between 3.7 and 3.8 metres is expected to occur Friday morning.
Rea Brook and Cound Brook
At 4pm on Wednesday, the level at the Rea Brook, Hookagate Gauge was 0.88 metres and rising. A peak level of between 1.2 and 1.5 metres is expected to occur on Wednesday evening.
Upper Teme
At 7.15pm on Wednesday, the level at the Leintwardine Gauge was 0.75 metres and rising. A peak level of between 1.0 and 1.2 metres is expected to occur Wednesday evening.
The level at the Onibury Gauge was 1.66 metres and rising. A peak level of between 2.2 and 2.4 metres is expected to occur Wednesday evening.
The level at the River Corve, Ludlow Gauge was 1.28 metres and rising. A peak level of between 2.4 and 2.5 metres is expected to occur Wednesday evening.
River Worfe
At 4.15pm on Wednesday, the level at the Burcote Gauge was 0.22 metres and rising. A peak level of between 0.6 and 0.7 metres is expected to occur overnight into Thursday.
Tern and Perry Catchments
At 5pm on Wednesday, the level at the Yeaton Gauge was 0.33 metres and rising. A peak level of between 0.6 and 0.8 metres is expected to occur on Thursday morning.
The level at the Rodington Gauge was 0.53 metres and rising. A peak level of between 1.1 and 1.2 metres is expected to occur on Thursday afternoon.
