Bands have until midnight on Sunday 27 March to submit their entry and the organisers want to hear from as many bands as possible.

33 bands have applied so far across a range of music genres including rock, punk, ska, metal, blues and indie.
Selection will be based on a completed online application form and any online music clips or CDs supplied. Bands must have a repertoire sufficient for a minimum 30 minute performance slot.

This year’s festival takes place in Telford Town Park on 3 September and -follows on from the huge success of the first two Park Live events. Event organisers are now looking for eight bands or solo performers for this year’s line up.

Park Live is an outdoor one day festival of rock and indie music which showcases the area’s thriving arts and culture scene and features a fantastic line-up of up and coming as well as more established local bands and solo performers.
This year’s event is being supported by local company Keim Mineral Paints based in Donnington Wood. Keim’s Managing Director, David Pratt, said: “We’re really excited to be working in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council by supporting such an unforgettable, live music and festival family experience. This coming together will hopefully create a bond with the youth and families of Telford, the Park Live event has a big impact on our lives, offering plenty of special moments for us all.â€
This year’s Park Live will be hosted by Beacon Radio presenter, James Carpenter and admission will be free of charge.
Last year the event attracted almost around 6,000 music lovers of all ages who enjoyed a great day out in the beautiful Telford Town Park.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 27 March. Selected bands will be notified by no later than Friday 6 May. This year’s festival will be held on 3 September and will run from 1pm to 7pm.
The event is organised by the council’s Arts Development Team and Telford & Wrekin Music and promotes the council’s Active Lifestyles priority, which encourages people to do more, enjoy more and feel better.
