Comedian Ross Noble is heading to Oakengates Theatre @The Place this month, for two nights as he warms up for his latest tour, giving local audiences a chance to see his brand new material before the tour begins.
‘Brain Dump’ warm up will head to the theatre on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September, 2016 and is a great opportunity to see Ross in action, spinning his usual hilarious nonsense for everyone’s amusement.
Noble began his comedy career at the tender age of 15 and is a regular performer throughout the UK and Australia.
His stand up routines are largely improvised and surreal performances with a stream of consciousness delivery, meaning he is often referred to as a ‘randomist’. Many of his shows become based around heckles and conversations with members of the audience.
Although he does have a few set topics which he performs throughout a tour, he describes the planning as “about four words on a piece of scrap paper”.
With these kind of credentials, Ross Noble will truly be a ‘one of a kind’ comedian to see live on stage, and with these two nights in September local audiences will have just that chance. Perhaps it’s an opportunity to prepare a challenging heckle for the man himself and see where he takes it.
Ross Noble is appearing at Oakengates Theatre @The Place at 8pm. Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September.
Tickets cost £18 and can be booked online at www.theplacetelford.com by calling the box office on 01952 382382, or in person at the theatre or Southwater One in Telford Town Centre.
