Police in Bridgnorth are reassuring residents that action is being taken against anti-social driving in the area.
Temporary Sergeant Sarah Knight said: “We have had two calls during the month of June from members of the public, directly relating to the Cartway in Bridgnorth. There have been several others in relation to vehicles on car parks in Bridgnorth.
“In response, patrol officers and the Safer Neighbourhood Team have conducted visible patrols in the area.
“So far we have issued five warning letters and issued a section 59 notice to one driver. We are also utilising the CCTV system in the town to identify vehicle registrations.
“We are appealing to members of the public to report vehicle related anti-social behaviour at the time the incident occurs. This will mean that officers can be more effectively deployed. In particular, please note down the full registration of those vehicles involved.”
If you are concerned about anti social driving in your area please call 101.
