Music Review: Holly Robinson
Location: Railway Inn, Yorton
Date of Visit: Friday 25 February 2011

What a super evening at the Railway Inn, Yorton last Friday! (25th Feb 2011) The pub was its normal inviting self, with a warm welcome from the staff, customers and the roaring fire. And the beer was excellent, as always.
But what made it really special was the entertainment.

A local singer called Holly Robinson was performing in aid of Help For Heroes and for two hours the audience was captivated by her singing. Her voice was marvellous – powerful with a wide range and presented with passion.
Her cover version of “Bring him home†(a tribute to our Soldiers) brought a tear to more than one eye, and “Making Whoopee!†prompted one lady in the audience to jump to her feet, clapping. Honestly! – a standing ovation in a pub!
So a marvellous evening, and all for a good cause – thanks very much Holly and the Railway.
Make sure you find out where Holly is singing next – it will be well worth a visit!
You can hear a sample of her singing here, and contact her via email or you can follow @HollySings on Twitter.
