This Saturday, the Ironworkers once again challenge Oswestry Town FC to a charity grudge match taking place at the Venue, Oswestry; in aid of Hope House Children’s Hospice.
The Iron Men first challenged the local football club to a match last year, each player giving their all, pitted against one another in a match of more than just football, both teams played to win.
With pride in their hearts and the cheers of the crowd ringing in their ears, this summer the challengers will return to the pitch to reclaim the trophy. With a new training program and string of victorious matches in their wake the Ironworks FC and manager Gary Payne will show no mercy.
Admission will start from 12pm with kick off at 12.30pm and will cost £1pp to spectate.
