Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred in Madeley on Saturday 18 April 2015.

At around 10.45pm, a woman was assaulted outside the Oak Lounge, High Street, Madeley when a man kicked her to the head causing a large bump.

Aaron Morris, aged 25, from Sutton Hill in Telford has been arrested and charged with assault by beating in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Telford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 6 May.

PC Neil Clayton said “The bar was very busy at the time, so there is a good chance the incident would have been witnessed by customers.

“We would urge anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 814 of 18 April. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
